How It Works

• Study the timeline: Seven recent wearers of one club shirt number are shown in order, with three player names removed.
• Fill the gaps: Select a missing shirt and search for the player you think wore that number in the timeline.
• Use the clues: An incorrect attempt reveals appearances first, followed by nationality if you need another clue.
• Complete the timeline: Identify all three missing players, then generate another club and shirt-number challenge and go again.

Scoring

Each missing player starts worth 3 points. A first incorrect attempt reveals appearances and reduces that player to 2 points. A second reveals nationality and leaves 1 point available. A third miss reveals the answer for 0.
